Gearing Up for 2016 #TMGExecSummit

Greetings from beautiful Nashville, home to the 2016 TMG Executive Summit! Today through Wednesday, our participants will be treated to exciting activities and presentations on hot-button topics for financial institutions. Among the thought-provoking topics we’ll tackle are innovation, cybersecurity, data analytics and the future of payments. A tall order to be sure, but we plan on sneaking in some fun along the way.

Already today, our attendees had the option to explore Music City in one of three different ways: a city bus tour, music tour or Tennessee whiskey tour. This evening’s opening reception at the Country Music Hall of Fame will officially kickoff the main event.

The educational oasis will begin tomorrow. TMG CEO Shazia Manus will lead the charge with opening remarks intended to open participants’ minds to the power of ingenuity and reimagination. Predictive analytics expert and author Eric Siegel, Ph.D., will then take the stage to deliver a keynote address on applying predictive analytics in the financial sector.

Following Siegel, four TMG experts will provide quick-hitting presentations on key industry updates. Leading expert in disruptive innovation, Soren Kaplan will end the day by enlightening attendees on the ways strategic change helped organizations like Disney, Kimberly-Clark and Hershey achieve business breakthroughs.

The second day of Executive Summit promises eye-opening anecdotes and insider insights. World-renowned investigative reporter and the personality behind the popular blog “Krebs on Security,” Brian Krebs will start the day with an in-depth look at the current cybersecurity environment. Mitch Matthews, success coach and best-selling author, continues the presentation lineup with his three simple steps to beat worry.

Next on the docket is an innovation case study led by Ernie Garcia, founder of tech start-up Carvana. This brief presentation will illustrate the evolution of innovation from theory to execution.

The 2016 TMG Executive Summit sessions conclude with the annual Future of Payments Panel. Experts from TMG, Dupaco Credit Union, First Data and Oberthur Technologies will explore ways financial institutions can deepen consumer relationships, boost profitability, grow their payment portfolios and reimagine banking for a new kind of consumer.
