(Des Moines, Iowa – December 5, 2016) – Payments processor TMG today announced the addition of Senior Vice President of Finance Travis Schipper to its executive leadership team.
Reporting directly to TMG CEO Shazia Manus, Schipper will provide financial leadership, economic strategies, budgetary oversight and revenue forecasting models. He will work closely with leaders of various business units, as well as in collaboration with each of TMG’s Affiliates Management Company sister companies and strategic partners.
Schipper, a CPA, has more than 15 years of financial services experience. He has held high-level positions with both Target Corporation and Wells Fargo, where he led the revenue forecasting and reporting team for the bank’s consumer credit card portfolio. Most recently, Schipper served as vice president of finance for Kum & Go, the fifth largest privately held, company-operated convenience store chain in the U.S., where his executive responsibilities included mergers and acquisitions, international banking and capital investment analysis. Prior to joining Kum & Go, he grew and subsequently sold a successful dry cleaning business.
“Travis has a phenomenal skillset honed from many years as a leader in multiple industries. Just as important, he has an innate desire to succeed while doing right by others,” said Manus, who added these qualities make Schipper an ideal fit for TMG’s culture. “His visionary and enterprising outlook will help TMG achieve our long-term business strategies, and his collaborative nature will support the next-level consumer experiences TMG’s financial institution partners expect.”
Schipper holds an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa.
