TMG Promotes, Hires Senior Financial Services Experts

Payments processor promotes five key employees, adds two new professionals to staff 

(Des Moines, Iowa – July 8, 2016) – Payments processor TMG today announced changes and additions to its staff of financial experts. 

 

Karen Postma has been promoted to vice president of risk and consumer services. Postma has 15-plus years of experience in the payments industry and a 10-year tenure with TMG. Under her leadership as assistant vice president of operations and asset management, TMG's fraud detection and prevention teams saved TMG clients more than $40 million in potential fraud losses in 2015. In her new role, Postma will be responsible for overseeing the cardholder service center and fraud operations teams.

 

Robert Butler has been promoted to vice president of operations. Butler’s more than 30 years of experience in project and vendor management, product development, process improvement and risk and operations management qualify him for this newly created position. His responsibilities will include serving as an operational liaison for TMG’s business process improvement team and overseeing the payment processor’s platform services and quality assurance initiatives.

 

Newly promoted to vice president of SmartGrowth™, Jennifer Davis has more than 15 years of experience in credit card issuing within the top 20 U.S. issuers and has advised over 200 financial institutions. SmartGrowth is a portfolio review program designed to assist financial institutions with everything from campaign management to comprehensive reviews and strategic consulting. Davis joined TMG in 2014 as portfolio strategy executive. She has been instrumental in developing portfolio management strategies to drive activation, utilization and balance growth for credit card portfolios

 

Yvonne Stelpflug joined TMG in 2014 as client business executive. Promoted to vice president of client relations, Stelpflug has played an important role in the development of numerous mutually beneficial client relationships for the growing company.

 

With more than a decade of experience in finance and accounting, Jeanna McBain has been promoted to vice president, controller. McBain joined TMG in 2013 as controller, overseeing accounting for TMG, as well as sister company TMG Financial Services. Her department includes accounting, finance and billing.

 

Nancy Didwell has joined TMG as vice president of client relations. With nearly 30 years of experience in the payments industry, Didwell will bring additional industry expertise and insight to TMG. She previously worked at First Data, where she was responsible for managing relationships with group service providers and mid- to large- size financial institutions.

 

Deborah Wieczorek has also been hired as director of new client partnerships. She has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and most recently served as a director-sales executive at First Data. At TMG, Wieczorek will coordinate and lead sales activities for TMG’s credit union partners. She will also support TMG’s direct sales channel’s strategic future, culture and leadership practices.
