LU Assignment

Logical Unit Assignment provides access to change a User ID’s LU assignment. CO-OP’s Help Desk will establish the number of LUs for your financial institution.

To access, select LU Assignment from the Web Terminal homepage.

Field Descriptions:

LU Totals By Type: Lists the totals for each type for the financial institution.

LU: Logical unit name.

Assigned To: User ID that belongs to a dedicated LU.

Type: LU type determines if a User ID is able to get onto FD3270 with their own communication line, or if they share a communication line to FD3270 with other User IDs.

Update LU Assignment

LU type determines if a User ID is able to get onto FD3270 with their own communication line, or if they share a communication line to FD3270 with other User IDs.

From the LU Assignment screen, click on the OPTIONS link and select the Update link.

To Update an LU Assignment:

1. Select the desired type from the drop-down menu.
2. Click Update.
