Web Terminal

The web terminal link gives access to maintain the financial institution's Terminal Emulator - Web users and LU assignments. Terminal Emulator - Web is the portal to the FD 3270 application.

Note: CO-OP's Help Desk will still need to set up the FD 3270 user ID and password.

 

To access, select the Administration menu, and then the Web Terminal link. This takes you to the Manage Users screen.

 

 

Field Descriptions:

User ID: The user's identification to access Terminal Emulator - Web.

LU Assignment: Logical Unit, this determines if the User ID is able to get onto FD 3270 with their own communication line, or if they share a communication line to FD 3270 with other users.

 

Valid Codes
Common Shared LU
Dedicated User ID has their own LU to access FD 3270

 

Note: This is normally recommended for users who perform monetary batch transactions.
