Closing Reason Codes

The Closing Reason Codes feature allows the financial institution to add a reason when closing an account. Closing reason codes can be viewed on the Closed Reason Dynamic Report.

Note: If your financial institution is interested in having this feature turned on, contact Velera.

 

From the Administration menu, select First Data to access the Closing Reason Codes screen.

 

 

To add a new reason code:

  1. Select Add New Reason Code.

 

 

  1. Enter desired closing reason code.
  2. Select Add Reason Code.

To edit an existing reason code:

  1. From the Options drop-down menu, select Edit Description.
  2. Select Update Reason Code
