Delete Account

You can delete a credit or debit card off of the system with this option. In order for credit cards to report accurately to the credit bureau, the following criteria must be  met before a credit card can be deleted:

  • The account should have a zero balance and no activity for at least 2 cycles.
  • The account cannot have an external status of Z.
Note: To delete a charged-off account, set external status to C. The next day the account can be deleted.

 

All deleted accounts can be viewed on the CM-027, Deleted Accounts report. Debit cards can be deleted at any time.

  1. Hover over the Maintenance menu, under Account Properties click on the Delete Account link.

 

 

  1. To delete the account, click Delete Account.

 

Note: This will delete the entire account and all PI’s tied to the Master Account. Once an account is deleted from the system, it is a permanent change and that account number cannot be re-instated.

Once this process is complete, it will take an overnight update to remove the account from the system.
