Springboard Maintenance

General Updates

You can update selected information on an account using this option. Hover over the Maintenance menu, under Account Properties click on the General Updates link.

Note: Anything edited on the General Updates screen will apply at the Master Account level.

 

 

Field Descriptions:

Checking Account: Master Level checking account number.

Savings Account: Master Level savings account number.

 

Note: This will be the account number funds are drawn from if an auto pay flag is set.

 

Credit Life Code: Indicates whether the account has credit insurance.

Credit Score Code: Used to assign any codes or values specific to the credit bureau score, 3-positions in length. Not edited by FD, so it can be specific to the FI Credit Bureau Special Comment Code: Code assigned for reporting to credit bureaus.

Credit Line Review: Field indicating when the credit line has last been reviewed.

 

Valid Options
9997 The account is not subject to review for the credit line increase or decrease
9989 The account is not subject to review for a credit line decrease
9999 The account is not subject to review for a credit line increase 
(MMYY) Message indicating to enter the month and year of the credit line review date

 

Home Equity Indicator: Use this flag to offer a line of credit secured by home equity.

 

Valid Options
Not a home equity account
Home equity account opened before 1988
Home equity account opened after 1987

 

Note: Only to be used by clients with an established home equity program with CO-OP.

 

Home Equity Maturity Date: Date the home equity account is due for renewal.

Statement Cycle Code:  Code determining when the cardholder’s account will cycle. This field for most institutions will be able to free form this field with numerical values ranging from 1-28. As an example, if the cardholder wished that their account cycled on the 15th of the month, this code should be updated to 15 to change the statement cycle.

 

Note: When adjusting cycle dates, CO-OP recommends allowing 27-35 calendar days between the old cycle date and the new cycle date.

 

Note: To limit the amount of cycle codes available, the FI can choose to limit these to a drop-down list of options. This can be set up by contacting your Client Solutions Representative.

 

Statement Hold Code:  Code representing if a hard copy statement is produced and where the hard copy statement is sent.

 

Valid Codes
C Sort hard copy statements according to account number and mail to FI
D System-generated code that represents default strategy ZBFD has been assigned to the cardholder (for restricted use)
N Send hard copy statement to cardholder
R Returned mail; do not print a hard copy statement (for restricted use)
Note: When address is changed, system automatically changes the R to an N.
S Send statement to FD Fraud Management Services (for restricted use)
V Send statement to cardholder, enlarge to 11X14
W Do not print a hard copy statement. Instead, produce the statement only for CIS (Customer Inquiry System) and on microfiche
Y Send hard copy statement to you (FI)
Blank Send hard copy to cardholder

 

Operator ID: Identifier of who will receive statements sent to your FI (not applicable).

Alternate Language: Desired language for cardholder communications and billing.

Business Account Identifier: System-generated account relationship code representing an account as either a control account, subaccount, or individual pay option account.

Annual Statements: Identifies whether the cardholder is to receive annual statements at year end.

 

Note: PCF must be set up and communications must be built in the alternate language for this option to work, otherwise the system will default to English.

 

Interest Switch: Use this field to prohibit fees and finance charges from posting to the account.

Employee Account Indicator: Field indicating whether or not this is an employee of your financial institution.

Y Employee of your Financial Institution
N Not an employee of your Financial Institution

  1. Update information in the appropriate field.
  2. Click Update to complete the transaction.
