Below are the steps in which are required to register for Mastercard Alerts, and subsequently, claim on issuer reimbursement cases.
- Register for Mastercard OnLine
- Order the Mastercard Alerts Product
Step 1: Register for Mastercard Online
If an issuer is not already a registered user of Mastercard OnLine, they must register through the online registration system. To register for Mastercard OnLine, a user can follow these steps:
- Navigate to www.mastercardonline.com.
- Click the Enroll Now link. Registration is free. Login or enroll now to access the entire suite of Mastercard OnLine information.
- Follow the steps in the registration process.
Note: A message may appear stating that the request has been received along with a Request ID number.
Once Mastercard OnLine access is completed, Mastercard will contact the user via email:
- The email message will contain a link that the user must click to complete and to activate the account on Mastercard’s system.
- The email message will be from online_requests@mastercard.com.
- Mastercard OnLine allows users to sign on with either the use of a password or a SecurID token. Initially, access to Mastercard OnLine will only require the User ID and password that are created during the initial enrollment process.
- A SecurID token will only be assigned upon request of a Mastercard OnLine product that requires a higher level of secured access.
- After a user activates their account, they can go to www.mastercardonline.com and enter their User ID and password that they created from the initial enrollment to access Mastercard OnLine.
Step 2: How to Order the Mastercard Alerts Product
You must order the Mastercard Alerts product in order to access the Online Issuer Reimbursement Claim form, the user must take the following steps:
- Navigate to www.mastercardonline.com
- Log in by entering your User ID and either password or personal identification number (PIN) and pass code into the appropriate sections of the Login box. The login box is located on the right hand side of the Mastercard OnLine home page. Click Login
- Select Order Products
- Select Browse Catalog
- You can view the catalog in two ways:
- View products by role—This method will allow a user to search for products that match their job responsibilities.
- View products by name— This method will display a listing of all products in alphabetical order that the user is not licensed for.
Note: There is a search box at the top of the page, which will enable you to search for a specific product.
6. Select the product you want to order, and the product description will display at the bottom of the screen
7. Click Subscribe Now
8. Complete the request form for the product. You will receive a confirmation number once the request has been submitted. Please print this screen and obtain for your records.
Note: Customers must ensure that the issuer’s Mastercard Principal Contact or Security Contact has registered for Mastercard Alerts through Mastercard OnLine. Once registration is completed, either the issuer’s Principal Contact or Security. Contact may submit the claim.
