Chargebacks

The Chargeback screen allows you to review fraud and dispute charges on an account. This page displays all charges and the status of the chargeback. Use this screen to review the case documentation once a case has been closed.

To access, hover over the Maintenance menu, under the Risk option click on the Chargebacks link.

 

 

Chargebacks Field Descriptions:

PIID: Plastic indicator identification. (Separate entity client only.)

Open Date: Date the fraud/dispute case was opened.

Pend Date: Date the next action will be taken on the account.

Pend Reason Description: Details of reason case is pending.

Trans Date: Date of Transaction.

Trans Amount: Amount of transaction.

SEC Code:  Merchant Category Code.

Merchant Name: Name of merchant.

Merchant City: City of merchant.

Merchant Stat: State of merchant.

Status: Action description in regards to the chargeback case (also referred to as a chargeback, representment, and restitution).

Date Received: Date that action was taken on account, typically by the merchant.

Date Processed: Date that action was taken on account, typically by the chargeback analyst.

Fraud Documents: Name of support documentation that have been uploaded to account.

Date Uploaded: Date document was uploaded to case.

Actions: Option to open and download Fraud Documents.

 

Note: Case documentation is available for up to three years after closure, or until the account is purged. 

Clients can request a FTP delivery of fraud closure packets in bulk instead of downloading from individual accounts. To activate this feature, contact your Client Service Executive.
