Hot Calls

This screen displays all referred transactions in which the merchant called in for an approval code. Examples of when calls may display on this screen:

  • The account was A blocked by the Fraud Detection Work Center because of possible fraud on the account
  • A transaction that traveled through a Falcon strategy met an authorization decision code of refer

Fiserv will verify information about the person using the card to ensure it is the cardholder. Notes about the Hot Call will display on this screen. Fiserv representatives do not verify other transactions on the account at the time that they received the hot call. This screen will allow you to monitor your hot call accounts for fraudulent transactions to see if an account needs to be blocked.

Note: Hot call notes do not display on the memo screen. If MS value is present, this indicates Merchandise Referral. There may be information on the Hot Call screen.

 

Hover over the Maintenance menu, under Risk click on the Hot Calls link.

 

 

Field Descriptions:

Purge Date: Date the system will automatically delete the hot call from the system if there are no other hot calls entered for the account.

FI Notified by: Identifier of Fiserv operator who notified the financial.
